A Huge Thank You
So many individuals have donated fabrics which have included everything from tiny scraps to double duvets – and everything in between! We have received pieces of ribbon, elastic, fur, felt, thread, wool… and so many items – some of which we have invented products for in order to use them!
In addition to this, we have been helped by the following local companies, for which we are incredibly grateful.
A huge thank you to:
- Millennia Print for printing many posters, leaflets, pack inserts and supplying plastic for window masks
- Jarvis Brew for providing we Bees with occasional refreshments jarvisbrew.co.uk
- Baldwin Boxall for the supply of hundreds of plastic sealable bags and for payment to print scrub patterns baldwinboxall.co.uk
- Dafydd and his team at ILIV Textiles for donating us 10 metres of poppy fabric
- Katherine Jennings for the specially designed metre of fabric – which we haven’t used yet! katjenningsartist.co.uk
- The Original Factory Shop for providing several balls of yarn tofs.com
- Waitrose Crowborough for welcoming us as a group to sit & craft in their cafe
- Zest Gifts, W.E. Cro & Guests Shoes for hosting ‘collection tins’ during our Ukraine Appeal
A massive thank you to those that helped by holding stocks of our masks and taking donations:

How you can support us
We are a group of non-profit, self-funded volunteers and have been known to dig deep into our own pockets to pay for haberdashery and items we have needed along the way. In July 2021 we made the difficult decision to retain 10% of funds raised from the sales of our products to help us to continue with our campaigns – unless we state otherwise.
In addition to the purchasing of haberdashery, we need to find funds to purchase things like insurance, a gazebo, a machine to take card payments – all this is on top of any special (seasonal/themed) fabrics, ‘wreath wires’, t-shirt string and other items that are not usually available by the normal process of donations.
If you would like to help us on our journey that would be fantastic, here’s how you can:
Direct Funding
If you would like to provide us with a few pennies to help us along, that would be amazing! All funds received by this route will be used to purchase items we need to use to make our products – we do not take any funds from the pot for expenses, ever! If there is something you have in mind that you would like us to focus your funding on, then do please let us know, we will be happy to honour this.
NB: We are not a registered charity, we prefer to support a variety of local causes and charities, with the occasional national ‘call to action’ – instead.
Fabric, Yarn & Haberdashery Donation
Currently we do not need any donations of this type, thank you – space has become an issue!
