Bee's Blankets for Crowborough
Bee’s Blankets for Crowborough campaign was launched to make and distribute blankets to residents of Crowborough who may struggle to afford switching on the heating this winter.
During the winter 2022-23, for many, putting on the heating is too costly. For some, each drop in temperature will make for a difficult decision, in regard to switching on the heating.
Bee’s Blankets for Crowborough campaign was launched to help by making and distributing blankets to the residents of Crowborough to help keep them warm.
This campaign is now drawing to an end, we hope to have made and distributed all the blankets by mid-March. The volume of donated knitted & crocheted squares has been phenomenal and we have been blown away by your support!
Can you see your squares in the pictures below?

We are busy sewing and assembling the blankets using the squares provided. These are then photographed, washed, labelled and packed ready for delivery. (Lots of photos for you to see below.)

We have delivered 122 blankets so far (as at end February 2023) and are finishing off the last few.
